Tattoo aftercare instructions.
Remove Bandage after 1 hour.  Wash with mild anti-bacterial soap & warm water using only your hand in a circular motion.  Wash tattoo again before going to bed, DO NOT cover your tattoo.  Be careful not to wear clothing over your tattoo while sleeping (tattoo may dry out & stick to your pajamas).  Wash tattoo 2-3 times daily and wait 24 hours before applying a thin layer of AQUAPHOR (by Eucerin) twice daily for 1 week.  “It puts the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose gain.”  Tattoo should only be moist with aquaphor, NOT GREASY!  Do not pick, scratch, or expose tattoo to direct sunlight for 2 weeks.  Do not soak tattoo in water (showers are fine).  Tattoos should be healed in about 2 weeks on average; sometimes may take up to 4 weeks - different people & skin types heal differently.  Once tattoo is healed, use a high SPF sun block to keep from fading while out in the sun.

Do I need to make an appointment?
YES, Independent Tattoo Company is a private appointment only studio.  Please click the Tattoo Inquiry form to submit your idea.

How Far out do you book appointments?

I try to only book 3 months blocks at a time and then I close my schedule down until the next round.  You should receive an auto response if my books are closed, with the next opening schedule date.

Why haven't I received a response from my tattoo inquiry?

I try to respond to all requests, but keep in mind I am only 1 person fielding requests from social medias, gmail, website, phone calls.  Please allow up to a week for a response, when my schedule is open for booking.  If you receive auto response that books are closed, then take that as my response and please submit again when the schedule opens back up.

How much do you charge?
Our shop minimum is $100, it does not matter how small the tattoo is.  My rate for tattooing is $200/hour or $1500 Full day rate.
